Cookie Policy

VP Sendit does not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses one strictly necessary authentication cookie and limited browser storage required for encrypted operation.
Authentication cookie

This cookie is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict. It has no Domain attribute and is sent only to VP Sendit. Disabling it prevents sign-in and authenticated file operations.
Browser storage
Browser storage is not a cookie, but VP Sendit uses it for essential encrypted functionality:
- IndexedDB can store an account key wrapped by a non-exportable device key, allowing a browser you trust to unlock the account after reopening it.
- sessionStorage temporarily caches the unlocked account key and short-lived interface state for the current browser session.
Choosing Forget this browser and log out removes the account’s trusted encrypted device copy and ends the server session. Browser settings can also clear local data, but doing so may require your password or recovery process to regain access.
Human verification
Registration, invite requests and password-recovery requests use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may use strictly necessary browser storage and process browser or network signals while completing a security check. VP Sendit does not use this mechanism for advertising or cross-site profiling.
No consent banner
Because these technologies are strictly necessary to provide and protect the service and are not used for tracking or advertising by VP Sendit, VP Sendit does not display a marketing-cookie consent banner.
Changes and contact
If optional analytics or similar technology is introduced later, this Policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before that technology is enabled. For questions, contact the administrator who provided your invitation.
